Important news about your FoxMed & FoxDent Software:


We appreciate and value your business. It has been, and will continue to be, our goal to pursue excellence in the support of our client's medical and dental practice management software. However, as of June 1 2003, Computer Team, Inc. is no longer a FoxMed and FoxDent Value Added Reseller (VAR). Nothing has changed in regard to our support and service.   

Why we are no longer a VAR


We discovered a new product that we have found to be significantly better than the FoxMed and FoxDent programs. This new publisher has also made a tremendous offer to upgrade our existing clients. In addition, it will be less expensive to support and upgrade in the future.   

The publisher of FoxMed and FoxDent, HealthTec Software, has had a series of serious problems over the life of the product. We feel that continuing with this problematic legacy is not in the best interest of our clients; and, based on the track record of HealthTec, it is evident that these problems will continue in the future.  

How will this affect your practice?


It won’t; everything stays the same for now. We are making these changes to allow us to provide better solutions for your practice now and in the future. You will likely receive phone calls, faxes and mailings from HealthTec Software, soliciting you for direct support, service and upgrades. We recommend that you do not respond to these solicitations. We will continue to support you just as we always have. 

What do you need to know?


  1. You are not required to switch to HealthTec Software for support. In fact, if you do, you will be losing quite a bit. We have longer support hours, lower rates, and “Adam Smith.”
  2. Computer Team will continue to support your practice! Although we are no longer a VAR for HealthTec, we will always support your hardware and software needs, including your HealthTec software.
  3. You will still have access to our normal support hours from 8am-6pm (CST) and our 24-hour emergency paging system, 365 days a year, including holidays & weekends. In addition, you should already have Adam’s mobile number; but, if not, here it is again: 563-340-9222.
  4. We have low support rates! The national average for any type of support service is $125.00 an hour. We charge just $88.50 per hour, a considerable savings.
